About the Firm

CASCADE CAPITAL ADVISERS was founded in 2019 by long-time friends and business associates Paul Heston and Karim Chehad. Paul and Karim each spent more than two decades working for bulge bracket investment banks in New York City, London, Frankfurt and Dubai, and their collective experience forged in the trenches of the world’s leading financial hubs was the basis of their motivation to create their own firm.

Today, Cascade has a presence in Chicago, London and Luxembourg.

We advise asset owners seeking to raise capital by collateralizing or disposing of their illiquid assets, including real estate, equity positions in privately-held companies, and other ‘exotic’ assets such as fine art.

We are much more than a cap intro service, as we provide hands-on support at all deal stages including diligence, documentation, escrow, and closing. We understand that transacting a deal can be complex, and can often take weeks or even months . As such, we bring our substantial experience and expertise to the table in every deal.

The majority of our deals have a cross-border element to them, and we are fully equipped to deal with the challenge of working with counterparties from different cultures and regions.

For deals within the United States, we work alongside our partners LPS Capital, a FINRA-licensed broker-dealer.

We typically work on transactions valued at $10 million to $25 million although we do sometimes make exceptions in certain cases.

For non-US clients, we are structured as a British Virgin Islands company for greater ease and flexibility.
